Organise your subscriptions with Categories

Categories are now available on Blogtrottr - a simple way to group your subscriptions.

You can create as many categories as you like ("Tech news", "Work", "Cooking", whatever fits your life), assign subscriptions to them, and then filter your subscription list to quickly find what you're looking for. Bulk assignment is supported too, so you can tidy up an existing collection in one go.

Each category can have a default filter. If a subscription belongs to a category and doesn't have a filter of its own, it automatically inherits the category's filter. So if you have a "Python news" category, you can set a filter once - "title contains Python" - and every feed you add to that category will use it automatically. No need to configure each one individually.

If you ever need a specific subscription to behave differently, just enable a filter on it directly. A subscription's own filter always takes precedence.
